Study at: Monash University

The Study Options Open Days are back in 2015 with a new look - this year, two Open Days will be held in March, and three in November.  Attending the Open Days is an opportunity not to be missed - these are the only events in the UK where you can meet and talk to a large number of Australian and New Zealand universities face-to-face, and under one roof. You can find out more about the courses available, the universities themselves, their accommodation options, campus lifestyles and facilities, and more.

Details of the first set of Open Days in March are now available:

With just a few weeks to go before the first Open Day, we are pleased to say that we already have lots of prospective students registered for the events in June.  If you haven't yet registered for an Open Day, you can do so here, but first let us tell you a bit more about what you can expect.

The Study Options Open Days are a series of free information events designed to give students, parents and careers advisors the chance to find out more about studying at Australian and New Zealand universities.

If you are hoping to start a course at an Australian university in semester 1 (February) 2015 and need funding, please make sure you start researching scholarships as soon as possible. Some schemes will ask you to already have an offer of place from your Australian university before you can apply, so it’s important to check all the criteria and deadlines that apply sooner rather than later.

There are two general scholarships that students applying to study in Australia can go for, though these awards are often restricted to postgraduate applicants.

The next opportunity to start studying at an Australian university is semester 2, which at most institutions will commence around the 21st of July.

If you want to apply to start an undergraduate or postgraduate course in July this year, you’ll need to ensure that you’ve made your application by the end of April in most cases, though please check any specific application deadlines carefully.
